Amberwood bath

Before an overwhelming archway and framing of the bathtub consumes the light and energy of the room. The shower had glass that should allow light in but was dark and unwelcoming. Overall the space felt dark and cramped.

Now the space is opened up without changing the footprint. Brightened by removing obstructions from the windows and softened with cool white marbles and reclaimed wood.  Throughout the bathroom, the calacatta marble has a soft and soothing feel.

The 'greige' wall color softens the white cabinets. Light brown touches on the floor tile add a light energetic touch to the space. Reclaimed wood was used as a natural element to frame the mirrors and as the out-facing wall of the shower.

A free standing tub is now a welcoming element that compliments the room instead of overtaking it.

A large statement shower is a walk in shower with two entry ways.  Pairs of shower heads and body jets are separately controlled to allow a more individualized experience.
